The factors $\Delta _{S}$ and $\Delta _{i}$

The spectral resolution element $\Delta _{S}$ is a factor which depends on the actual geometry of the instrument and is usually a data evaluated on the fly according to the user setting the bin size along the dispersion direction on the ETC input interface. Similarly is evaluated the factor $\Delta _{i}$ in imaging.
